EDEN COME

I’m wasted…

I make these little lists of to-dos
But it’s all a waste of time
What why who to do
We’re just wasting in time

It’s a waste
Our spent sweat tears and cum
It’s a waste
Just what have you done?

Days spent in electronic walled wastes
Our thoughts shot posted as interface
All those screen before your face
Sitting complacent wasting in place

Behind us in dust footsteps are traced
I guess all we can hope for is moments of grace.

It’s a waste
These things that we do
In a vast landscape
We’re seeking what’s true

Like black cats sailing thru pitch dark space
Like the seeds of success set in time
Like sunlight beaming upon your sleeping face
Like tasting wine from the eternal vine

I’m wasted. Wasted in this place.
I’m wasting away. I have to escape.

It’s a waste
Just a waste of breath
It’s a waste
In balance with the life, this death

We’re all flames burning with oxygen
We’re all stars seeking our stellar twin
We’re all in need of purpose and kin
We’re always ending…and then again we begin

Please be kind
It may be this one time
Please be kind
It may be your last time

So take your hand in mine
Let’s go away
Let’s always play
Wouldn’t that be fine?

Have your say
